Jess Schwanfelder

Jess is a former high school English teacher turned insurance agent. The struggles navigating Medicare hit home to her when she herself became overwhelmed with her mother's medical options. After this experience, Jess was determined to use her teaching experience to present Medicare in a more accessible way.

On a personal note, Jess is a huge animal lover. She has three Siberian Forest cats of her own, named Deli, Rye, and Hoagie. In her spare time, she and her husband volunteer for animal rescue flights with the organization Pilots n Paws. Pilots with this organization help transport animals from high-kill shelters to fosters or their forever home. To date, she and her husband have transported 31 animals!
